Product versions support and discontinued support.
Each year, the number of customers using current versions of Quicken and QuickBooks grows. Retirement of older versions of the product allows them to focus their resources on supporting more current products, which are used by the vast majority of Quicken and QuickBooks customers. To continue using online services* and maintain access to live technical support from an Intuit representative, members will need to upgrade to a currently supported version, such as Quicken Windows 2008 - 2010.
Quicken for Windows 2007 - discontinued April 30, 2010
Quicken Mac 2005 - NOT discontinued in 2010
In-product notification begins mid-January.
Intuit's policy is to support the current product and the two prior versions.
