Banking Veteran, Dennis Holthaus, Joins Achieva Credit Union as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

CLEARWATER, FL (January 13, 2009) Achieva Credit Union today announced the appointment of Dennis Holthaus as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Holthaus brings over 35 years of financial services experience to Achieva. His career includes senior management positions in finance and operations within the banking industry.
Holthaus has served as Executive Vice President and CFO with Freedom Bank in Bradenton, Florida and Citizens Federal Savings Bank in Miami, and was Executive Vice President at Bay Financial Savings Bank in Tampa. He also served as EVP/CF0 at INSOUTH Bank in Boca Raton, and as EVP at Bank Atlantic FSB in Ft. Lauderdale.

Holthaus graduated from St. Louis University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting. He has served on the banking industry’s Financial Institution Accounting Committee and on the Board of Directors of the Suncoast Mortgage Bankers Association. Holthaus has been a keynote speaker at numerous trade and regulatory conferences throughout the United States.
Holthaus and his family live in Tampa, Florida.
