What is "Big Brothers Big Sisters"?

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest youth mentoring organization in the United States.  It serves children from ages 5-18 and matches them with a Big Brother, Big Sister or Big Couple.  Studies have shown
what a positive effect BB/BS has on children.  98.8% of matched children were promoted to the next grade and
90% mentored for at least a year do not get involved
with the Department of Juvenile Justice.  We have
Achieva employees who have either been, or are
currently a "Big Brother" or "Big Sister", and rave about what a positive influence this organization has on
both the child and the adult.

Achieva Credit Union has been supporting this organization for over 4 years now, and our staff looks forward to the yearly Bowl for Kids Sake event to raise money for this organization.
