Box Car Rally!
The final countdown is on!
Achieva Credit Union will be holding its first annual Box Car Rally on September 11, 2010, from 9:00am to 2:00pm. The event will be held on Cleveland Street in Clearwater, FL (by Harborview Center). This family-friendly event is FREE to attend, and with all proceeds going to Pinellas County Classrooms, you won’t want to miss it! With box car racing, food, drinks, balloons, music, kids events, The Rays Street Team, 50/50, raffles, local merchant tables and tents, and so much more - we’re sure that this event will be a fun time for participants and spectators alike! So, bring your cash and help support the cause!!
Would you like to be in a race?
If you want to be more than just a spectator, and be a part of the live action, please click on the links below. What will happen at the races: there will be a push-start, but then gravity takes over as you go down the hill on Cleveland Street in your box car. There will be one person driving, and the rest of your
team can push the car at the beginning only. Every team needs to build their
own one-man custom car – and you can even start with a kit (like the one below), or build it from scratch. However, all rules and regulations must be followed. Register now - the cost is only $50.00 per team!
